The typical installation in a Domestic premises usually consists of a combination
of vibration sensors on external doors and windows (to detect attempts at forced
entry), magnetic contacts (to detect the physical opening of doors or windows) and
internal passive infrared detectors (to detect movement). Panic buttons can also
be integrated into the system.
Commercial and Industrial installations, because of their diversity, can incorporate
a wide range of detection devices. Passive infrared detectors, microwave detectors,
magnetic contacts for doors, windows and roller shutters, panic buttons and external
area protection can also be included in any bespoke solution to suit the customer's
needs.
The design and installation of Closed Circuit Television Systems is the tour de
force of Ultrasafe Alarms' repertoire. CCTV is no longer regarded as an intrusive
system, in fact, it is well recognised that having a visual recording of events
on a premises or street benefits all sectors of society. Ultrasafe Alarms will design
and install the most suitable system for your circumstances, from the small internal
domestic solution through to the more complex Pan and Tilt external installation.
The recording and retrieval of images can be facilitated via standard video tape
recorder or PC based, dedicated hard disc recorders, and can be accessed remotely
from anywhere in the world.
Access control, the process of controlling access to specific areas of your property
is another speciality. Ultrasafe Alarms will design and install the system that
is the most cost effective and best suited to your specific circumstances. A full
and varied range of options are offered, from the standard door entry via voice
or video intercom, numerical keypad and swipe proximity cards, through to biometric
devices that facilitate entry via fingerprint or iris recognition. The entry process
is very simple, the individual seeks access and entry is permitted or denied in
line with the security clearance parameters. The movement of any individual through
doors or any alarmed area can be logged and is in fact a standard on most systems.
Access Automation, Security Lighting and Fire Detection complete the catalogue of

Access Automation involves the installation of internal automatic door openers,
swing leaf or sliding gates and security barriers. We offer a full range of options
including: over ground hydraulic or articulated arm systems and underground electro
mechanical or hydraulic systems. A good example would be a car park security barrier.
Access could be determined automatically, through a voice or video intercom or any
other access control system. A full UPS battery back up system can be incorporated
into any solution to protect against mains power failure. Again, all solutions are
designed to suit specific circumstances with cost effectiveness always paramount.
Security Lighting has always been one of the more effective ways of detecting intruders.
Ultrasafe Alarms will supply and install a system that is capable of detecting an
approaching person. The detection will in turn trigger the lighting, whether it
be a simple outside courtesy light or multiple detection lighting. Alternatively,
security lighting can be enabled through a pre programmed time span.
